Congratulations to Coach Selmers son Matt (junior at Riverdale Baptist) for making the 2009 pre-season Maryland All-State team!! With a 2008 record of 10-1 including the teams only no-hitter, Matt certainly earned the right to be named to the team. Matt was joined on the All-State team by senior C.J. Poad. The Kingson Royals wish these players the best in 2009!!

ROYALS 2008 ACCOMPLISHMENTS:

- Champions of the Mid-Atlantic Baseball Associations 13U Division 1...finishing with a 24-4 record

- Champions of the ECTB "In The Net" Tournament going undefeated...5-0-1

- Champions of the Sports at The Beach "Tournament of Champions"...going 6-1

- Champions of the "Maryland Fall Classic"

- Runner up at the Maryland State Championships beating some of the areas top teams along the way!!

- 4-2-1 record & quarterfinal appearance at the Ripken Experience in Myrtle Beach.

- 46-14-3 season that followed a strong 38-13-1 12U season.

 

 

The Royals warmup as they prepare for another winter practice! The team knows the level of success they reached in 2008 is in the past and to be a championship team again in 09', means alot of hard work!!!
