Entry ID: 1814925 | Who gives a shit about who goes where? It is disappointing that Port Hope didn't bump up but shit happens. It is still gonna be a fight to retain their tital. Just like the person before said, what matters is who is hot on that given weekend and who gets some lucky breaks. Teams wouldn't be there if they couldn't compete. We lost to Port Hope last year and they deserved to win. They played great ball and earned it. There are too many guys that play or may not play that run their gums. I think either you are a sideliner or live vicariously through those that do. pick up a ball or bat some time and see what it feels like. Odds are you'd get a reality check. Nevertheless, good luck to all team in their respective categories and leave it all on the field!
Good luck to all

P.S. That's what it looks like when a man leaves his name......no biggy though |

Entry ID: 1814691 | Nobody from Port Hope wrote that last statement. Ican guarantee that so whoever it was F@#$off. Winning at any level is hard it was no cakewalk for Port Hope either year you need some good pitching, fielding, hitting and definitely some lucky bounces. |

Entry ID: 1813265 | I have seen Bolton play for the last few years and they can flat out hit period. Port Hope may have met there match this year. Bolton won that NDBL league last year and also wiped the D's. I don't think they trailed the entie 7 games they played. 1 month until we find out. |

Entry ID: 1813098 | This is the league that Creemore plays in website and Kendal did win last year. However I do agree. Any team can win. Kendal will have a much tougher time when not at home. Hats off to the dude that posted the monster blurb underneath. My pick to click would have to be Exeter as they have the best pitcher heading into the tourney... |

Entry ID: 1813024 | the only things for sure in this world are death and taxes.... and Kingston going 2 and a Q in the elims and Windsor being there on Monday.. competition in these leagues are not very far apart... it is all about who has the best lineup the best pitching matchup and whoever get the bounces going their way. Creemore is a very good team with good pitching and a solid line up. Kendal is scrappy and plays small ball and bleeds you to death if you make a mistake or even a good pitch that they can get the bat on the ball.. It is senior baseball and as much as people want to think that its such a big thing that they play "REP" baseball... it is in fact not, it is a testiment to people will and love of the game as well as their passion to be able to work it in on a regular basis with family life and work. It's almost the end of august and summer is almost over and everyone will be sad when it leaves untill the next ball is thrown or ball is hit. We all love this game for a variety of reasons, MAC and Kendal who cares what your classification is... would it be nice to see the champions in C's in B's sure but its fucking senior baseball guys. Go watch your son's play ball and see how much fun they have when they do not worry about bitching about what classification teams are... its a beautiful game and has been a beautiful summer and its somethign that all of us have in common.. good luck to everyone and on a side note good luck to Windsor and possibly Ilderton (if they decide to attend) at the National Championships. |

Entry ID: 1812993 | Kendal only uses pitchers within their organization. Check their website for their rosters from years past and you'll see the proof. |

Entry ID: 1812976 | Lets be honest. Can anyone really come on here and say this team will win or that team will win. All teams competing in the B. C. and d levels have a shot. If it was as easy as writing down the winner then why even play the game.. Anything can happen in baseball. That is what makes it such a great sport. The best team doesnt always win. In other sports 9 out of 10 best team wins but with baseball a hit here a error or even a bad call can make a huge differnce. It just comes down to the team who does everything right for one weekend. Best of luck to everyone. |

Entry ID: 1812659 | sorry i meant our coach had us in C |
Mac Port Hope August 4, 2010 3:40:51 PM
Entry ID: 1812658 | I can verify that initially our coach had us in B, we appealed to the EOBA and the president approved our move to B. Our Senior Commissioner didn't finish our appeal and put us in B, so here we are going C. We would all love to be going B, but it is what it is. It will be tough either way we go. Kendal and Creemore are both good teams and apparently so is Bolton. All that matters is what happens on the field. Best of luck to everyone and we can say for certainty that we will be in B next year, there will be no miscommunication this time |

Entry ID: 1812435 | does port hope lie about everything, they wanted to go C they apply C easy enough, they have played kendal 4 times this year and have won 3 of 4 with one mercy, and a 3 tight games by the look of their schedule. Newsflash, the playoffs are different, why would anyone care about a season when you guys have 3 senior teams and a junior team. |
