Cranford High School , West End Place and Cranford Community Center,Walnut Ave.and Hillside Ave School

CRANFORD HIGH SCHOOL
Take exit 137. Make a right onto North Ave. (Rt 28 West). Follow North Ave. approximately 3/4 of a mile into Cranford. At a light make a right onto Springfield Ave. (Amoco station on far corner). Go through two lights; after the second light, go three more streets on Springfield and make a left onto West End Place. The High School is one block on the right.
From Rt 22 (East or West)
Take route 22 into Springfield to Springfield Ave (Rt 577 South) towards Cranford. (From the West, take the right just past Comp USA; From the East, go past Bob's and under the underpass and an immediate right up and over that same underpass.) Once on Springfield Ave. follow until the fourth light. Make a right (at the island 30 yards prior to the light). This remains Springfield Ave. Follow through another light (at Union County College). Stay on Springfield
and take a right at the fourth street past this light onto West End Place. The High School is one block on right.
From North Ave (Rt 28) West:
Follow North Ave into Cranford Center. Take a left onto Springfield Ave. Follow directions from Parkway above.
CRANFORD COMMUNITY CENTER-WALNUT AVE
From GSP North or South;
Take GSP to the Cranford exit,# 137.Upon exiting,bear right onto North Ave.You will pass a Dairy Queen and Dunkin Donuts.At the 1st light after Dunkin Donuts,make a left.Go under railroad trestle and make a right at next light onto South Ave.At the second light,turn left onto Walnut Ave.Community Center is on the right attached to the Cranford Public Library.
From Eastbound Rte.78
Take route 78 to GSP exit and head south.Follow directions above from GSP North or South.
From Eastbound Rte.22
Rte 22 East to the Cranford exit,a right,just past Comp USA.(If you pass The Sports Authority,you've missed it).Make a left at the stop sign and then a quick right.Stay on this road passing Echo Lake Country Club.Go through the first light after Echo Lake CC.At the top of the hill before the second light,bear right onto Springfield Ave.Take this until the detour sign makes you go left or right.Make a right onto West End Place.You will pass the High School on the right.At the next stop sign,go left onto Orchard.Take Orchard to the next stop sign and turn left onto North Ave.At the second light,make a right onto Walnut.Go under railroad trestle and through the first light.The Community Center is on the right attached to the Cranford Public Library.
Hillside Ave School (From Rt. 22 West)
Rt 22 West to Martine Ave in Scotch Plains (pass Blue Star Shopping Center on left and Snuffy's Fantasia Restaurant on right) make right. Go through Scotch Plains to Rt 28 (South Ave) make left.(Fanwood Train Station on right / Dunkin Donuts on left).
Proceed on South Ave through Westfield and Garwood come into Cranford. Make a right on Centennial Ave. Go about a mile (pass tennis courts on Right) and Hillside Ave School is on the Right (baseball fields and soccer fields in front lawn. Long driveway - gym is in the back, park in the front of school.
Directions to Orange Ave from South: Orange Avenue Middle School Sports
GSP to Exit 138 (Kenilworth) bear right and make a left at light back over Parkway
at 4th light make a left onto 21st Street (21st will become Orange Avenue)
drive one half mile on Orange Avenue
Directions to Orange Ave from North: GSP to Exit 138 (Kenilworth) at end of ramp make a left at light
at 3rd light make a left onto 21st Street (21st will become Orange Avenue)
drive one half mile on Orange Avenue and make a right.
