Strathmore Minor Ringette Association
2010 Tournament Outline
1. Rules and Regulations of Ringette Alberta, and secondly Ringette Canada, will apply in all situations where it is not clearly defined in the local tournament rules and regulations.
2. Teams must register in the same, or higher, division as indicated on their Provincial registration form.
3. In the event of more entries than places available, a draw will be held.
4. Notification of tournament acceptance will be sent by e-mail or phone call by Dec. 15, 2009
5. Your payment will be cashed upon acceptance into the tournament. If your team is not accepted your cheque will be destroyed.
6. All teams must be prepared to play at 10:00 a.m. Friday, Feb. 5, 2010
7. All divisions, except U9 Bunny, will be a round robin format with a championship game. Each team will be guaranteed three games. U9 Bunny will not play a championship game.
8. Each team will be responsible for supplying adult volunteers for the games they play as follows:
Home – 1 shot clock operator (if required), 1 gate attendant
Visitor – 1 scorekeeper, 1 gate attendant
SMRA – will supply timekeepers for all games
9. Schedules and tournament rules will be sent via e-mail to the address provided by Jan. 23, 2010
10. Make cheques payable to: Strathmore Minor Ringette Association and date them for the deadline date.
