In 1960, The Brooklyn Kings were formed.

  The remained the Kings until 1984-1985, when Kings County, apparently, had a problem with the name. So, it was changed to the Brooklyn Knights.

  Knights won the National title in 1990.

  1996 was the last year for the Brooklyn Knights.

  1997, They became the Long Island Seahawks, playing @ Central Islip HS ( Boomer Esiason's old HS ).

  In 2001 The Seahawks relocated back to Brooklyn Will represent not just Long Island, but the whole New York Tri-state area.
