Last meeting for Fall 2008. If your team is in good standing, Fall reimbursements will be processed. There is no December Meeting.
U-11 Assassins North Continental Division Champs!!!
On Sunday 11/16/08 the U-11 Assassins, won the North Continental Division in the South Jersey Soccer League. After a successful U-10 season, the Assassins moved up to play in the North Continental Division, and ended up with a record of 9-0-1. Defense was as strong a part of the success as the offense. The defense made up of ADEL ELKAFAS, BRANDON RISLEY, BEN COCHRAN, LEWIS DARLING, RYAN SHAMUS, JARRED SIMON, and TRENT CLINKSCALE held the opponents to only 7 goals for the entire season. On the offensive side the team had 40 goals for the season, provided by ANDREW GRIGGS, ADAM PETINGA, JARED MANGANELLI, TYLER BALMER, RYAN ELCO, BOBBY MAGUIRE, MATT SCHAFF, RYAN SHAMUS and TRENT CLINKSCALE. The Assassins are looking forward to moving up in the rankings for the Spring 2009 season.
U-14 Annihilators Capture North Continental Division!!!
The U14 Atlantic United Annihilators completed their first-ever championship season by defeating the second-place Logan Sharks 2-1. The Annihilators finished with a record of 8-1-1, winning the South Jersey Soccer League's North Continental Division by eight points. Jeff Weinert and Casey Schrading scored for the Annihilators, with assists from Schrading and Kyle Bush. Dante Venafro provided strong support on offense. Matt McCormick made 12 saves in goal, several of them in spectacular fashion. Justin Rice, Sean Manganelli, Phil Mol, Conner Conard and Nick DellaVecchia led the Annihilators' defensive effort. Andy Kupp, Matt Fetske and Patrick McColgan led the strong effort at midfield. The Annihilators actually clinched the title a week earlier, defeating Vineland 2-1. Luke Bencivenga and Schrading scored on assists from Kupp and Carlos Galeano. Josh Westcoat made big contributions at forward and McCormick made seven saves in goal.
