Azle Night at The Ball Park in Arlinton!!!!

The Azle Baseball Boosters and the Azle High School Baseball program are selling these tickets. The tickets are for the ball game on June 12th, 2009 when the Rangers play the L.A. Dodgers with a fireworks show to follow. Our goal as a group is to sell 1000 tickets. This will allow the varsity team to play a game at The Ball Park on Thursday, March 19th against Crowley High School at 1:00 P.M.. We will also raise money for our booster club as a portion of the ticket sales goes to our club to help pay for improvements at our high school facility.

Field Improvements for the 09 season have started!

Field improvements for the 2009 season have started. The press box was moved earlier this year, it now sits up behind the bleachers. This a better vantage point and it will be easier to access. The new infield dirt project started this past Monday, they have started taking out the old infield and will replace it with a state of the art material. We will post photos as we get projects finished. We have started adding photos to our Field Improvements 2009 album. Please take a look!
Ball game at The Ballpark in Arlington!!!!

Coach Anderson has scheduled a game with Crowley on March 19th, 2009 at The Ballpark in Arlington!
Our goal as a program is to sell 1000 total tickets. This averages out to about 20 tickets per kid. That is all age groups. The varsity team will be the one playing the game that day. Coach Anderson has said he will take as many kids as possible to that game to participate. This is something we want to become a tradition so that the younger age groups can experience playing on a Major League ball field as well, for years to come!
There is no upfront money required and we sell the tickets at a very reduced rate. We will also be able to sell the tickets for a few dollars more than what our price is and we should be able to make a couple thousand dollars for our booster club. It should be a win-win deal for our club and our kids. We will be getting tickets to sell to the Ranger game on June 12th, 2009. The Rangers will be playing the L.A.Dodgers and there will be a fireworks show after the game to music from the Beach Boys. We are going to advertise and sell this as Azle night at the ball park. We will have tickets in hand the first of December 2008. We will need to have these sold before our game on March 19th.
