End of season banquet
The end of season banquet will be held at the last schedule game. After the game the players will receive their trophies from the coach, get a ticket for the concession cart to get a hot dog, chips, and drink, then go to the park with their team.

All registration are taken at the recreation department located at 37 East Woodrow Ave, Belmont, NC 28012. Normal office hours are Monday - Thursday 8am to 8pm, Friday 8am to 5pm, and Saturday 9am - 12pm.

AGE GROUPS:
3-4 Little Tot Tball cannot turn 5 before May 1st, 2008 and must be 3 by January 1, 2008
5-6 T Ball cannot turn 7 before May 1st, 2008
COACHES NEEDED
The Recreation Dept will need a volunteer coach for each team formed. Head coaches will get a discount on the registration fee if they signup to coach at the time they register their child.
DRAFT/MEETING
A. Draft/meeting date is as follows:
Little Tot and T Ball: Head coaches meeting only will be held on Thursday May 29 at 6:30pm at the rec. dept.
Players and parents meeting will be as follows:
3-4 Little Tots: Friday May 30 at 6pm at Davis Park Field
5-6 T Ball: Friday May 30 at 7pm at Davis Park Field
Players will meet their teammates and coaches at this meeting and some information will be given out.
Teams will be posted on the website at www.belmontparksandrec.com then click on the baseball link.
PRACTICES/GAMES
A. Little Tot T-ball, and T-ball practice will begin the week of June 2.
B. Little Tot T-Ball and T-Ball games shall begin the week of June 16 and the season shall end approx. July 19.
C. Games will general be on Monday, Tuesday, and Saturday but other days may be used if needed. Makeup games will be made up as soon as possible and could possibly be any day of the week.
FEES
A. The registration fee $25 in-city and $50 out-of-city per player for t-ball and it covers the players’ shirt, hat, trophy, and an end of season party. The fee does not include pants, socks, or glove.
B. No refund will be given after the registration date has expired. If a player drops after this point the uniform, trophy, and end of season party will be forfeited.
FUNDRAISERS
A. Picture Button Sales: These can be purchased from the recreation department approximately a week after pictures have been taken. The cost of the button will be 2 for $5. We will only have buttons for players that take individual pictures on picture day.
SPONSORSHIP
A. Anyone or business interested in sponsoring a team please contact the Belmont Parks & Recreation Dept.
B. Sponsors will get their name on the back of the jersey, a link or recognition on the website, and a sponsor plaque to display in their home or business.
C. Money raised through fundraisers and sponsorships will be used to offset expenses of the program.
GRIZZLIES NIGHT
There have been 4 nights set up for Belmont at the Grizzlies games, two nights for t-ball and two for coach pitch. The two t-ball nights are Saturday July 12 and Friday July 25. On these nights the players will get in free and others can purchase tickets for $3 each. Also, you can purchase meal tickets for $3 which includes a hot dog, chips, and drink. The two coach pitch nights are Saturday June 7 and Friday June 20. Game and meal tickets can be purchased for these games for $3 each but t-ball players will have to purchase a ticket to enter for these two dates. The deadline to order tickets is the Monday before the scheduled game.
Please help us keep the parks clean by picking up trash after the practices and games.

Coach Pitch: Coaches meeting will be held on Tuesday April 1at 6pm. The draft will be held on Tuesday April 1 at 6:30pm at Davis Park. Returning players from the 2007 season can choose to remain on their team or enter the draft. Please note on your registration form that you wish to remain on your 2007 team.
B. All new players, players moving up from t-ball, and any others that choose to enter the draft must come to the draft. Bring your glove, cleats, etc just like it was a practice.
