Dear Parents,
There continues to be confusion over the pre-registration process. I apologize for any confusion. I appreciate those of you who have emailed me with questions.
Many new players will be joining the league for this upcoming year. There will not be enough open positions for all of the children wanting to participate.
Failing to pre-register does not allow your child to automatically go back in the draft. Your son will return to his team from last year, unless released by your team's manager and approved by the Bill Bond Board.
Based on the number of children who have expressed an interest from outside of our league, we are requesting every family who knows they are returning to the league to pre-register. Pre-registration will allow us to determine how many openings we will have for the upcoming year.
What I am trying to avoid is a situation where a returning player fails to pre-register and then is released back to the draft. There is a strong possibility with the level of talent joining our league this year that a player released back to the draft will not make a team. Pre-registration insures your child will have a position to return to in our league, if returning to the same age group.

Pre-registration will only be for those players wishing to return to Bill Bond Baseball. Returning players should pre-register by December 1, 2008. The regular registration period will be January 1, 2009 – February 13, 2009.
Pre-registration is now available on this website. There will be no registration fee at this time. You will pay your registration fee to the league during the regular registration period.
Thank you for your help in preparing for next season. This process will continue to allow Bill Bond Baseball to offer the most competitive league baseball in the area.

There are many exciting things coming up for next season. With the generous support of the City of Pensacola, we are looking forward to having new batting cages, score booths, bathrooms, etc.
The Bill Bond Baseball League offers quality competitive baseball for youth ages seven to fourteen years old and consists of four divisions: Coach Pitch, Minor League, Major League and Juniors League. Games are played at the Roger Scott Athletic Facility on Summit Boulevard in Pensacola. Tryouts are conducted in February of each year. If you would like more information or think your child would enjoy Bill Bond Baseball, please contact us and we will be happy to tell you all the great things our league has to offer.
