Brooklyn Knights Come up Just Short on Chilli Day
February 17, 2007
The Brooklyn Knights and Queens Red Sox got together for the first exhibition game of the 2007 season. With the first pitch tempature around 35 degrees every started off a little cold falling behind 3-0 after the first inning. As the game moved on the bats warmed up, opening up a 4 run lead heading into the 6th inning. However, the Red Sox proved they were out to win scoring 5 runs that inning and putting ace Zamil Fernandez in to close out the game. Overall, a good first workout for the team. A lot of new players got to show what they can provide for the Brooklyn Knights this season.
