2009 Commitments
To all the Bandits who played in 2008, please send an email to BloomingtonBandits@yahoo.com and let us know whether you intend to play again in 2009. Please email with either yes/no or unsure at this point. Otherwise please give a call to either Mike or George to let us know. We are going to begin assessing team needs for next season and would like to know where everybody stands for next season as this could affect what we are looking to add.
In regards to practices, we were looking at setting up a practice in August, however with everyone's schedules being busy we were unable to do this. We will be posting/calling off-season workout information as soon as this becomes available.
Jake Huwe Spotted!
At 9:51 PM Central Time Jake Huwe was shown on FSN North during the Nick Punto at bat of the Minnesota Twins vs. Chicago White Sox game. Huwe looked majestic.
St. Louis Park
Congratulations to St. Louis Park for winning the 2008 Class A State Championship.
2008 Season Recap
The Bandits completed their 2008 season on Sunday night at Haddox. Overall the season was the best that the Bandits have had in their three year existence. The Bandits had their first winning season, their first 20 win season and also got their first Riverview playoff win. The Bandits also had their best finish in the Riverview with a 6th place finish. The season featured 2 victories over Eden Prairie Eagles, Northwest Suburbs Redhawks and the Westside Bombers. The Bandits earned a season split with the Edina E-Sox and the Richfield Ramblers. They also played Hopkins tough twice and had a close loss to the Bloomington Bulldogs. The Bandits look to improve again in 2009. Thanks for a great season guys.
