League Fees
I have set the fees for registration. I will have forms for sign-ups on Sunday during practice. The fee is going to be $65 per player. This will cover admin fees, baseballs, player affiliation fees and concessions. Each team will be responsible for uniforms. I can add to the registration fees and cover uniforms or each team can raise their own money and I can order them or each team can order them on their own. This is something that we need to discuss as a league. We need to start focusing on getting coaches to lead the teams.
As of right now, I am the league president, Scott McIntyre is the vice president, and Crystal Smith will be the Secretary/Treasurer. We will using local umpires from the Havelock area. We will be having a league meeting around the beginning of June. I will set the date when we start getting coaches.
Coaches are the next step in starting this league. Everything else is starting to fall into place. We need to start pulling the coaches in. I will be posting ads in the local newspapers, with the base PAO, and with radio stations. We will gain alot of support by the word of mouth also. So pass the word to everyone you know, worst they can do is tell you "No". Teams can use sponsors to pay for uniforms, and assist with league fees. Keep this in mind also.

Gentlemen,
I would like to thank all of you who came out today. I greatly appreciate you working with me. I would like to appologize for not being able to dedicate as much time with you as I did with the Sr guys. I would like to know what you think and if you would like to do this again. Next time we will set up a grill and do burgers and dogs.

Gentlemen, Lets get ready to play some ball. I am looking forward to being apart of this ground breaking season. We have some great talent from what I have seen. I look Forward to seeing everyone possible at practice. Please note the change of the practice day, it is going from Saturday to Sunday, same time just different day. Let anyone else that wants to play know to get in contact with me as soon as possible.

We need to start thinking of how we want to raise the money for this league. Are we going to come out of pocket or are we going to have fundraisers and sponsors? I prefer the latter of the two. Just keep in mind that we are going to have to buy uniforms and pay umps and all kinds of admin type fees. So lets use the bulletin board for this issue.
Practices
2008 CCBF Practices have started
Just to let everyone know we had our first practice today March 15th. I have great expectations from what I seen. Lets get the word out that every other Sunday we are going to be practicing from 9 am until around 1 pm. I will post the directions to the field on here also. If you have any questions please feel free to contact Coach Chris.
