Warriors Split another game day
April 12, 2008 - --
Warriors lose first game 9-3 to the Crickets. Drew Gowen pitched for 3 innings allowing only 1 run. Josh Crosby had a big 2 RBI base hit. Other than that, nothing worth writing about.
Second Game, we opened a big 8 run lead which allowed the team to work on some different position. Cody Stebbins pitched 3 innings, allowing only 1 run while striking out 3 batters. Final score was 12-1. Also we saw our first home run of the season by Drew Gowen, who hit a 2 run homer in 4th inning. Jacob Baxter, Cody Stebbins, Drew Gowen, and Josh Crosby had 2 hits each, while Chris Smith, and Jimmy Johns each had a hit. Cole Reed chipped in with a big Sac Fly in the first inning. It was also a good game for stolen bases as the Warriors stole 14 bases! Good Job on the bases. Next Saturday we will play 3 games.
