Football Team Visits Patients Local semi-pro football team spends time with patients at Children's Hospital Central California.
Wednesday, April 2, 2008 – The Clovis Wolves Football Team and players from the Central Valley Outlaws and Fresno Pirates shared words of encouragement with patients at Children's Hospital Central California.
The players came bearing gifts – autographed footballs and posters – as they went from patient room to patient room. The Central Valley Outlaws also donated a box of children's movies to the Child Life Department.
"We just want to give back to the community," said Team Owner Mark Fugate. "We want to brighten up their day."
This is the second year the Central Valley Football League team made a visit to Children's.
Winning is not a sometime thing; it's an all time thing. You don't win once in a while, you don't do things right once in a while, you do them right all the time. Winning is habit. Unfortunately, so is losing.
