The 2009 season is just beginning and preparations for the new season are under way. The CVFL will only have teams from the Central Valley this year and this will be a positive force in its own.

The League is very competitive in it's positioning of teams and we as we get set for another successful season.

We are setting our fields and schedules as we speak and will begin setting meeting dates for sign ups.

losing two games by less than a score last season should be enough for those of you that want to bring back a swagger to the Mustangs. Our last season was missing depth at a couple of positions that hurt when the teams success was at a cross roads.

We are looking a sponsorships and will change our scope of the North Valley Mustangs.

Navy blue pants, navy blue helmets and all applicable saftey equipment are needed as part of your uniforms you must provide.

note e-mails from the league. All uniforms must be matching and all conduct rules must be followed.

    from the CVFL

Every player must match his teammates:
    a, pants
    b, jerseys
    c, helmets,
    d, facemasks,

no exceptions owners/coaches who use players who do not follow the uniform
rule will forfeit the game/s the rules are broken in, and repeated
offenses will result in the season being forfeited. There is no reason to
use any players who are not in full matching uniforms, no reason and it
makes the league look like #*%! when it happens and you see pictures and
film online of it, bush league or Gladiator league it is OK but not in the
    CVFL.

    Jeff

    Here is another

    1. All home teams must provide 3 chain crew personal.
    2. Teams will need to provide their own trainers.
    3. Water Jugs and Bottles must be provided by teams.
    4. All paper work for players must be done by the 1st game.
    5. 55 man roster closed game #1.
    6. No adding players during the season.
    7. High School rules with college time, NFL equipment rules, no numbers
violations, and kicks may be brought out of the end zone.
    8. Get your final fee in this week or face a $100 a day fine till the fee
    is paid in full.
    9. Please control your teams and act right at games remember if we lose
our fields we are done so keep that in mind when getting ready for games.
    10. 8 teams make the play offs out of 14 so it is not over till it is over.

    Jeff King

2004 regional finalist 9-3 division champs

2005 undefeated GCFL AA Champions (coach of the year, general manager of the year) and division champs 11-0

2005 #1 ranked AA in Western United States invitation to National title in Orlando, Florida Disney World complex. (turned down for budgetary reasons)

2006 Regional finalist 10-2 co-division champions (AAA first year at highest level of play.)

2007 was a rebuilding year but still managed to make it to regional competetion by way of rule violation by another team in playoffs.

2008 our goal is to dedicate to fundamentals, and team concept of play.
