2008 EPYSA State Challenge Cup

The Freedom will be one of the 33 U-10 girls teams participating in the 2008 Eastern Pennsylvania Youth Soccer Association Challenge Cup. The tournament will be a World Cup format with all teams playing home/away games in the preliminary,quarterfinal and semi-final rounds with the Final Championship game being held a neutral site designated by the EPYSA.
The results from our first round, quarter-final and semi-final games are posted below. By winning all 3 games in the first round, the quarterfinal game on Saturday April 26'th, and the the semi-final game vs the Hempfield Kixx by a score of 2-0, the girls advance to the Championship game on Saturday May 17'th at Hempfield High School at 11:30 am.

Quarter-Final Game- Saturday April 26: CRUSA Freedom @ Hulmeville (CRUSA Freedom win 2-0)

Semi-Final Game- Saturday May 3: CRUSA Freedom vs Hempfield Kixx (CRUSA Freedom win 2-0)

Championship Game- Saturday May 17: CRUSA Freedom vs Lighthouse Fire at Hempfield High School field 3 at 11:30 am.

FC DELCO PLAYERS CUP 2008

The Freedom have been accepted to participate in the 2008 FC DELCO Players Cup Premier tournament Memorial Day Weekend Saturday May 24'th through Monday May 26'th. Bracket groupings and schedules have been released and are posted below. (All U10 Championship Division games will be played at Downingtown Middle School except for the Final Championship Game on Monday which will be played at USTC field #5)

2008 Hershey Kicks 4 Kids Invitational Tournament June 14th and 15'th

The Freedom have been accepted to participate in the Hershey Kicks 4 Kids tournament on Father's day weekend on Saturday June 14th and Sunday June 15th. The Freedom will be playing up in the U11 (11v11) age bracket and all information on game times and locations will be posted on this site soon.

We have reserved a block of rooms for our team along with 2 other CRUSA teams and the info for the room reservation list will be distributed prior to the reservation deadline. (Note that we have room reservations for Friday night 6/13 and Saturday night 6/14 and that we are staying at the Shertaon Harrisburg/Hershey which is the same hotel as last year.
