MSIT PARENTS FOOTBALL CLUB 1st Annual Memorial Day Weekend SUPER  MEET

May 23rd 10:00 AM

?         The long jump is limited to 1 athletes per grade or birth year if registered the day of the meet. 3 athletes if registration is done online by May 22nd @ 7PM

?         This Meet is sponsored by the MSIT  Parents Club.

?         The entry fee is $3.00 per name of each participating athlete.  Checks should be made payable to ?MSIT Parents  Club ? and should be delivered to the scorer?s table, together with a TEAM ROSTER naming the participating athletes, at the end of the Meet.

?         The schedule is a guide; where possible we will run ahead of schedule.  However, no division will start prior to 20 minutes before its scheduled time.  Accordingly, you should have your athletes arrive prior to the scheduled start of their division.  The boys will compete in the event first with the girl to follow.

?         Rules for this Meet, is determined by CYO/CTF-SI rules.

?         Novice means athlete has not won a medal in any Individual Event this year.

?         Open is for athletes who have won a medal.

?         An athlete who enters the meet as a novice will remain a novice throughout the meet but may move into the open division.

?         An athlete may compete in any 1 individual running event, 1 relay event and 1 field event.

?         Although field events and some individual running events are run in ?groups?, medals will be awarded based on grade or year of birth, as the case may be.

?         The long jump and Broad Jump is limited to 1 athlete per grade if registered the day of the meet. 3 athletes if registration is done online by May 23rd @ 7PM

?         The Shot Put is limited to 1 athlete per grade or birth year if registered the day of the meet. 3 athletes if registration is done online by May 22nd @ 7PM

?         This is a non-scoring meet.

?         The officials are all volunteers ? please treat them with the respect and consideration they deserve.  Volunteers who wish to help will be accepted on the day of the Meet.  If a question or dispute arises, the head coach should address the issue with Jim Mahoney, the Meet Director, and/or Jim Hughes, the Meet Referee, whose decision is final.

The open MILE can be run by any athlete as a second Running Event. Please indicate non scoring if you choose to do this.
