Hello! We would like to welcome you to Destiny Cheer, Kansas City's premiere cheerleading program. We are 'The Next Generation' of cheerleading! Our staff prides itself on being the best of the best. The athletes in the Destiny Cheer program will be working with our High School, All-Star, and Collegiate Nationally Ranked & Recognized staff. We are changing the way people view cheerleading. Cheerleading is no longer a popularity contest. It has grown into a crafted sport where athletes train nearly year round for their one moment of glory. Victory!
OPEN GYM

Beginning this week we will need everyone who attends open gym to fill out a new waiver. You can download the Waiver by clicking the link above, or pick one up at the gym. All Open Gym partcipants MUST have a waiver on file in order to participate in Open Gym.
WE NOW HAVE PUNCH CARDS......
Punch cards will be sold at the gym. They are $50 and you will receive 11 punches (so you are receiving 11 open gyms for the price of 10).

Dear Destiny Cheer Family,
We are very excited to announce the new home for Destiny Cheer. We have been working every day to secure the best facility to train our athletes and it is finally here. Pete and I are very proud to have the honor to say we will be working with the team of Diamonds Gymnastics. Diamonds address is 7270 W. 161st , Overland Park, KS 66085. Diamonds Gymnastics is a 24,000 sqft facility which is equipped with 2 spring floors, in-ground tumble trak into pit, rod floor into pit, and 2 trampolines. The facility also has a large viewing area as well as a dance room for warm-ups, cheers, dances, and conditioning. Destiny Cheer will have an office to help facilitate administration. Pete and I are very excited for this year and expect great things for our athletes, the program, and ourselves. Thanks for all of the support you have given to Destiny Cheer, Pete, and I. We can't wait to work with the girls and continue a great season! Destiny Cheer will be hosting an open house every Sunday in August and September from 3:30-4:00pm to allow any new athletes and their parents to tour the facility, ask questions, and view the beginning of practice. We are accepting new class and team members so we ask that you pass this on to your friends and families.

Sunday - Advanced/Elite Tumbling (Ages 9-18) -7:30-8:30pm
Monday - Class #3 - Beginner 1 (Ages 9-13) - 7:30-8:30pm
Monday - Class #4 - Beginner 2 (Ages 14-18) - 7:30-8:30pm
Monday - Class #5 - Stick and Stand 1 (Ages 9-13) - 8:30-9:30pm
Monday - Class #6 - Stick and Stand 2 (Ages 14-18) - 8:30-9:30pm
Tuesday - No Classes - Classes will be added on Tuesday at the beginning of September
Wednesday - Jr & Sr Team Practice - 7:00-9:30pm (Mandatory)
Thursday - Open Gym - 8:00-10:00pm - $5/person (Open Gym starts on Thursday, August 14, 2008)
Starting in September, classes will be available on Tuesday and Thursday. For the month of August, No classes will be held on Tuesdays and Open Gym will be held from 8-10pm and is $5/person. Welcome to our New Coach
Destiny Cheer is proud to annonce a new addition to our staff. Jenny LaBeau has joined the staff at Destiny Cheer and will be working with both the Junior and Senior teams along side Andrew and Pete. Jenny has an extensive background in cheer including as a current member of the Brigade Stunt Crew. Be on the lookout for her full bio to post soon.
Guidelines for Team Members
Practice
Be on time to practice. The girls need to warm-up together as a team and when girls come in late it is distracting for everyone.
Wait in the lobby until your practice time begins. Do not come in the gym and start hanging out with the class that is in session. This is unfair to those in the class.
Extra Work-outs
As a team member, you have the privilege to come up to the gym to work out any time the coaches have classes. This does not mean that you get to participate in the class that is in session. That is taking away time from those that are paying for the class (we don't want to run off class members by taking over their classes).
You can work out on your own, but do not expect help from the coaches (do not ask for a spot). This is your time to work out on your own, out of the way of the class. The coaches are busy working with the class members.
If you are just messing around, you may be asked to leave.
Open Gym
The tuition you pay does not pay for open gym fees. Team members are still required to pay to attend open gym on Thursdays.

If you are thinking you want to try competitive cheerleading, come on out to one of our practices and give it a try. Email or call to schedule a working evaluation session during one of our team practice times or to schedule a private session.

Inclement Weather
Destiny Cheer follows the Blue Valley School District inclement weather closing schedule. If the Blue Valley School District is closed due to weather, Destiny will not have classes that day.
