Brett is one of the new members of the Hamilton FC ownership group and is also the Director of Football for the Club and is the Head Coach of the Hamilton FC PDL team.
Brett’s coaching credentials include a Canadian Soccer Association National “A” License, United States Soccer Federation National “A” License, National Soccer Coaches Association of America Advanced National Diploma, UEFA B License, National Soccer Coaches Association of America Director of Coaching Diploma and the Canadian Soccer Association Advanced Coaching Certificate. Brett is also a Coerver Coaching Licensee USA/Canada.
Brett has been coaching at the Professional Level since 1994 where he began as the Head Coach of the Nashville Metros. Previous coaching appointments include the Nashville Metros, Lincoln Brigade, Southwest Florida Manatees, Hampton Roads Mariners, Atlanta Silverbacks and Toronto Lady Lynx. In additional Brett coached in the USA Olympic Development Program from 1990 to 1998 inclusively.
Brett is the only coach to have coached at all levels within the USL; Professional - Div II - PDL - W-League - Indoor League - Super Y League.
Brett is currently the Head Coach of the McMaster University Women's Team.
