Adam Gassman

Coach Gassman joined Hadachek in 2007 and was instrumental in teaching and coaching the young men in our defensive line. Adam is also entering his 12th year as a math teacher at Union. Before coming to UHS Gassman was a coach and teacher at Vinton-Shellsburg.

Adam played defensive line four years at Drake University in Des Moines, IA prior to a standout career as a three-sport athlete at Western Dubuque HS. Hadachek recruited Gassman to Drake.

Adam's wife Jennifer oversees the media center at Union High School and they have three sons, Lincoln, Isaac, and Ezekiel. The Gassman's live in rural Dysart and are very active in their church.
