Days, Age Requirements, Location:
Minors is open for both boys and girls ranging from ages 7 - 9. Games take place on Mondays and Wednesdays on Diamond #1 at the Community Center.
Division Rules:
It is important for all of us to understand that the T-Ball & Minors programs are designed to INTRODUCE the game of baseball/softball to our youngsters. We want kids to enjoy their first exposure to organized youth sports. In many cases, it is this first exposure that will set our children's success or failure and their attitude towards sports for the rest of their lives. The pressure of winning and losing is not what we want to accomplish here. Therefore, formals standings and records, such as wins and loses, will not be kept. We strongly enforce the minimum play rule to ensure maximum participation for all of our youngsters. By maintaining a relaxed and encouraging atmosphere, we believe that this is a F*U*N & positive learning experience for all of our youth. |
