Bases are 70 feet apart, the Pitching rubber is 48 feet from home plate, the distance from home plate to the center of 2nd base is 99 feet. In the spring, Pitchers may not pitch in more than 7 innings in one calendar day during the regular season. They may pitch in more than one game as long as it does not exceed the 7 inning rule in one day. The pitcher may not be allowed to pitch in more than 10 innings in 1 calendar week which runs from 12:01 a.m. Monday to 12 midnight the following Sunday. Pitchers must have 40 hours rest after pitching on the same calendar day in four or more innings. The 40 hour rest rule will be computed from the scheduled starting time of the game in which the pitching occurred. As soon as a pitcher delivers one pitch in one inning the pitcher will have been considered to pitch in one inning. A regulation game will be 7 innings unless they are tied at the end of regulation play then the game will go into extra innings. This is a summary of some bluebook rules and should not be viewed as a statement of the official rules. Play is governed by Official Baseball rules: "The Sporting News " edition. Exceptions to the official baseball rules are covered under PONY baseball Inc. rules and regulations for Bronco league then further exceptions covered under the Oak Hill Youth Sports Association Bluebook, please refer to those publications for more specific information.
