2009 Pinto League Player Agent

Age and Eligibility:
(7-8) Age cut off date for league change is April 30th.
In the Pinto division the name of the game is Fundamentals, with an introduction to competitive baseball. Coaches pitch to players and plays are made by the 10 defensive players in thefield (4 OF). Young players learn the basics of the game at this level in an organized but fun and forgiving setting. Scores and team standings are kept. Players at this level are expected to hustle, play their best and have FUN in a safe and learning environment. Teamwork, respect for the volunteer coaching staff and good sportsmanship is expected from the players and parents to insure a positive learning environment to help the players develop their baseball and life skills to the best of their ability.
Games played at the WBA Complex (field #3) - 50 feet bases and 38 feet pitching.
This division will feature an in house end of season tournament with all teams participating.
An WBA all-star team will also be assembled at the end of the season (spring league only) and play in tournaments against teams in the surrounding communities. |
