    Majors Information 
    This level is for players ages 10 - 12.

    10 teams: 8 from Westmont and 2 from Oak Brook.

    Players must attend a tryout to be eligible for Majors draft.

    Play begins mid-April. Games played at Veterans Memorial Little League Field in Westmont and Central Park in Oak Brook..

    Each team plays an 18-game regular season schedule followed immediately by a double elimination playoff tournament. All 10 teams qualify for the playoff tournament.

    WYBA Majors 2005 Playoffs Schedule (revised 01/21/05)

    Due to the addition of two more teams for 2005, we needed to add one additional round to the playoffs. For the first time, the 1st round of our playoffs will give 6 teams a bye. Teams with the 6 best won-loss records in the regular season will receive byes in the 1st round. In case of a tie in records, the first tiebreaker will be head-to-head record between the teams with similar won-loss records. Second tiebreaker will be run differential between the teams with the similar won-loss records. The third tiebreaker will be a coin toss.



    Playoff Game A: Friday June 24th @ 6:00PM - 10th seeded team vs. 7th seeded team

    Playoff Game B: Friday June 24th @ 8:00PM - 9th seeded team vs. 8th seeded team


    Playoff Game C: Saturday June 25th @ 12:00PM - 5th seeded team vs. 4th seeded team

    Playoff Game D: Saturday June 25th @ 2:00PM - winner of Game B vs. 1st seeded team

    Playoff Game E: Saturday June 25th @ 4:00PM – winner of Game A vs. 2nd seeded team

    Playoff Game F: Saturday June 25th @ 6:00PM – 6th seeded team vs. 3rd seeded team




    Playoff Game G: Sunday June 26th @ 1:00PM – winner of Game C vs. winner of Game D

    Playoff Game H: Sunday June 26th @ 3:00PM – winner of Game E vs. winner of Game F



    Playoff Game I: Majors 2005 Playoff Championship Game
    Tuesday June 28th @ 7:00PM – winner of Game H vs. winner of Game G



    All playoff games will be at Veterans Memorial Little League Field in Westmont.
    In each game, the higher seeded team will be the home team and occupy the 3rd base dugout.
