LOCATION: Silvercreek
DAY/TIME: Various 6:30PM
AGES: 10 & 11 Years Old
EQUIPMENT: Athletic shoes, Helmet with chin strap, Glove, Jock or Jill (rubber cleats optional)
MERCY: 5 Runs per Inning

Mosquito General Description

In Mosquito players are introduced to pitching, modified base stealing, and sliding techniques. Bases are still at 65 ft and the mound is 44 ft.
At Mosquito, a player may steal only once the ball crosses home plate.
At Mosquito, a base runner at third base cannot steal home.
At Mosquito, an automatic out is recorded on a dropped third strike call with the batter not permitted to run.
