Player’s code of Conduct

I will:

1) train & play to the best of my ability

2) have a positive attitude & never quit

3) concentrate on playing soccer and on affecting the outcome of the game

with your best effort

4) learn from mistakes and work hard at practice to reduce them

5) win without boasting

6) respect officials and accept their decisions without question

7) exemplify sportsmanship

8) only give encouragement to my fellow teammates

9) attend & be prompt to all my games and training sessions

10) immediately report any injury to my coach

11) respect the coach and the opponents

12) practice basic skills on my own time

13) notify the coach if I will be tardy for or unable to attend a game,

training session or meeting

14) learn the rules, procedures and routines

I will never:

1) engage in dissent directed towards an official

2) use profane or vulgar language

3) participate in horseplay

4) leave a game field or training session without the permission of my coach

5) make excuses if my team loses a game

6) forget that I represent Deer Park Tornadoes, its members and coaching

staff
