The Damascus Sparks are a Division 2, U13 girls select soccer team associated with the Damascus Soccer Club located in Damascus, Maryland. The Sparks, a highly successful tournament team, are coached by Steve Knapman. The team runs a year round program consisting of fall and spring WAGS league play, winter indoor practice and games, futsal and several tournaments throughout the year. This fall the Sparks are practicing Tuesday evenings from 5:30-7:00 PM at Fountain Hills LP in Germantown and Thursday evenings from 5:30-7:00 PM at Ovid Hazen Wells Park in Clarksburg.
