East Penn Sting of 2008
The East Penn Sting is a member of the IFL (www.ifl-football.com). The East Penn Sting is a minor league football team representing the Lehigh Valley and surrounding area in the IFL. We would like to include every town that cannot support a team of their own, the bigger the family the better!
Our organization trends to family values and family entertainment at a cost that any family can afford. Our team comprise of players from the tri-state area and all have the potential to play at the next level. We play at Mountainville Memorial Park located off South 4th street in Allentown, PA. We are a small organization that grows every year in team spirit, team support and team sponsors. The Sting lose another big game, this time to the Olney Blaze 0-42.
The Sting take on the West Philly Bengals in our first game away Saturday Sept 13th 7pm.

Practice for the East Penn Sting August 24th and beyond UPDATED!

UPDATE: We are now practicing at Mountainville Memorial Field off of 4th street in Mountainville (south Allentown). If the practice place changes we might not know until the day before. It's up to you to keep yourself informed. If you have any questions as to where we are practicing or practicing changes, contact Paul Hamsher. His contact information is under the CONTACT INFO link. For Directions, go to the Directions link.
Remember: You must contact the Head Coach if you cannot make practice.
Do You Belong to a Volunteer Organization?

Do you belong to a volunteer organization? This is an opportunity for you to be the point of contact for that organization. We would like to invite you to one of our home games, you can bring a tent, table and chairs and have the opportunity to share with the community your involvement with a volunteer organization. Bring your brochures for informational value. Please contact the Sting for further discussion. This is no cost to you and great for the community!

The official address is south 5th street, but we find that using south 4th street is an easier way to find the field because you can see it from the main road and is quicker to get to because it is a continuous street that passes by the field.
