ELKS FINISH IN 2ND PLACE

Needing to sweep a double header, the Elks won the first game with a forfeit win. The second game, the team decided not to hit, and found themselves with an eight run loss.

ELKS SOFTBALL RETURNS FOR FALL 2005 SEASON
September 25, 2005 - --
The Elks softball team is back for their fourth season over the past two years. The team started off in the summer of 2003 with a league team out in Orange. The team went 3-6-1. The next summer they came back and played in Irvine and wound up winning the league championship with a 6-3-1 mark. They followed that up with a fall season in Tustin, were the team struggled to a fourth place finish.
The team returns to Tustin, this time playing at Columbus Tustin park. The squad's first game was scheduled for the 19th of Sept, but was rained out. The boys don't lace 'em up again until October 10th. Here is the roster:

Santa Ana Elks Lodge Softball Team - Who Are We?
Welcome to the Santa Ana Elks, Lodge #794 softball team website. This page will feature stats, pictures, write ups, player profiles and other great information for our lodge softball team.
This active roster is comprised 100% of Elk members. Occasionaly a prospective member will sub on the team. The players are from the sub-committee titled the "young bucks". Click on the link to the left to learn more about the Young Bucks.
Who are the Elks? The Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks of the United States of America is one of the oldest and largest fraternal organizations in the country. Since its inception in 1868, the Order of Elks has grown to include nearly 1.2 million men and women in almost 2,200 communities.
The BPO Elks is committed to the ideals of charity and patriotism. To that end, Elks have now disbursed over the Order's 132 years more than $2.69 billion in cash, goods, and services to the nation's youth, its veterans, the disadvantaged and handicapped, and in support of patriotic and civic programs. In the 1998-99 fiscal year alone, the BPO Elks expended in such fashion over $160 million, and the Order ranks as one of the largest private providers of college scholarships in the nation.
