    Enid Outlaws

The Enid Outlaws are a group of 7 year old young men that have joined together for the spring/summer of 2008 to play baseball. The Outlaws participate in the Enid EJRT Baseball 8-Under Program and are a USSSA sanctioned A team. The Outlaws also participate in USSSA sanctioned tournaments on the weekends playing in the 7 year old divisions of these tournaments.

Goals for the Outlaws are to become more fundamentally sound players, to develop a better understanding of the game and to above all have FUN as we work hard in practice and play hard in our games.

"Teaching players What to do is important, and teaching them How to do it is more important, but teaching them Why to do it is the most important thing of all." - Jack Stallings

"The fundamentals are the most valuable tools a player can possess." - Dick Williams

"Success is having the courage to meet failure without being defeated. Although I cannot always control what happens to me, I can control how I respond." - Phil Niekro

"You'd be surprised how many shortcomings you overcome by hustle." - Pete Rose

"It's tough to beat the person that never gives up." - Babe Ruth

Sermons We See - by Edgar A. Guest

I'd rather see a sermon than hear one any day. I'd rather someone take my hand than merely point the way.
For the eye's a better pupil, more observant than the ear. Fine counsel is confusing, but example's always clear.
And the best of all our preachers are the ones who live their creeds. 'Cause it's seeing good in action that most everybody needs.
I soon can learn to do it- if you'll let me see it done. I can watch your hands in action, but your tongue to fast may run.
And the lecture you deliver may be very wise and true. But I'd rather get my lessons by observing what you do.
I might misunderstand some of the high advice you give, But there's no misunderstanding how you act and how you live.
