Information:
Troop 318 will be marching in the parade again this year. We will be meeting at Orland Junior High (14855 West Avenue, Orland Park, IL 60462) by the Troop 318 Trailer. Our parade position is number 43! Plan to be there between 11:30am and 12:00pm. No later than 12 noon please! The parking lot will fill up quickly and the police will close West Avenue at 12:30 Sharp!
The parade kicks off at 1:00pm. It will travel South on West Avenue to 153rd Street, ending at the 153rd Metra Station (Orland Days Festival). It's about 1.1 miles and we are walking so wear comfortable shoes!
Important Info:
Bring a snack and water to keep your scout hydrated
Bring Candy if your scout wants to toss it out (no chocolate and best to put in grocery bag)
Please wear "Class A" uniforms and parents in Scout stuff if you have something
Wear Sunscreen
NO BIKES
Wagons are ok but you have to pull it the entire way
Remember that we start at Orland Junior High and end at the 153rd Train Station, plan your after parade transportation accordingly.
No need to register, just show up!
