The November Camp Out has changed to November 11-13. We will be camping at Camp Bullfrog in Willow Springs, IL. On Saturday morning, we will drive 11 miles to Bemis Woods in Western Springs. Once there, we will be doing the Tree Top Adventure. This Tree Top Adventure consists of Ziplining, Tarzan Swing, and Rail Track. This is a 2-3 hour adventure in the tree tops. The longest zip is 600 ft, highest platform is 42 ft, longest crossing is 62 ft, total length is 2857 ft.
In order to participate, you must be at least 10 years old, 55" tall, less than 285 lbs, and we need 1 adult for every 2 scouts that are 10-15 years old or younger. Scouts that are 16 and 17 do not need this supervision but must have signed guardian consent. Adult participation will be in high demand.
The Group Rates for a minimum of 10 people:
$33.30 Babboon: Ages 10-15
$51.30 Gorilla: Ages 16-17 and Adults
These are the prices for the Tree Top Adventure and do not include the cost of camping which will be the normal $27 for Scouts and $25 for Adults and Troop Guides.
In order for me to lock in the date, I need to have a headcount ASAP. Let me know by sending me an email to roger.d.sandoval@gmail.com if you plan to be a part of this grand adventure. Remember that we will need adults to participate as well.
