Information:
My name is Alex Worachek and I'm currently working on my Eagle Service Project. I will be supporting a non-profit organization called Comfort Fur Kids. Comfort Fur Kids provides new stuffed animals to children in the hospital that may be undergoing treatment or surgery. The organization was founded by Caley Trepac in 2013. She had gone through many surgeries and had found comfort holding onto a stuffed animal. Her mission is to make a child's stay in a hospital just a little bit less scary. I'm supporting her mission by having a drive to collect new stuffed animals from April 2nd through April 30th. The stuffed animals would be delivered to Stroger Hospital of Cook County.

I'm asking for your help to support my project. There are several ways that you can help.

• Below are two of my flyers. Homer Township and Orland Park Library are drop off locations for the stuffed animals. Share the flyer to friends, neighbors, coworkers, and teammates.

• Here is another opportunity for service hours. I will have a table set up at St. Francis of Assisi Parish and will be handing out flyers. This will be April 7th from 5:00-6:30 pm and April 8th from 8:30-10:30 am.
Sign-up HERE.

This project is important to me because I have personally seen the comfort these animals bring to children. My brother went through many surgeries as a baby and young boy and I saw how special these animals were to him. I want to provide that comfort to more children.

Thank you for your help and support!
