Information:
Gather at Orwigsburg Memorial Building parking lot at 7:45am. Parade starts at 8am.
The route is probably the same as last year…Starts at the Memorial, down to the blinker, turn right onto E Market thru the Square to Franklin, turn left, then left onto Independence, and left on S Warren back to Square
We will be walking as teams with each team getting a chance to carry our League banner. It’s a bit of walking, but almost all downhill.
Wear your team shirts & hats (Coaches wear your shirts & hats too). Feel free to bring or add any patriotic accessories.
NO GLOVES
NO CLEATS (wear sneakers)
At the conclusion of the parade, there will be a brief Memorial Day ceremony on the Square. We won’t be a part of the ceremony, but I encourage you to stay. This is a good opportunity to show our thanks and support to our armed service members past and present, especially to remember those that gave their life in service to our country.
It’s also a great opportunity to show our thanks to our League team sponsors by parading around in our uniforms.
