Leave by the Braehead slip road
COMING FROM GLASGOW:
• Once on the slip road keep to right hand lane!
• At 1st set of traffic lights turn right!
• Then take 1st left.
• Go all the way down that road and just before the 1st bend there is a small car park on the left, just after the access to the bus terminus.
• Park there!
COMING FROM PAISLEY:
• At 1t roundabout take 2nd exit (at one o’clock) into Mayo Avenue
• At 1st set of traffic lights turn right!
• Go straight through the next set of traffic lights.
• Then take the 1st left at the roundabout!
• Go all the way down that road and just before the 1st bend there is a small car park on the left, just after the access to the bus terminus.
• Park there!
Once you have left your car the recommended access to the Braehead Shopping Complex is via the rear, double door entrance just round the corner after passing Loading Bay ‘F’- From the small car park, head for the HMV sign, turn left along the boardwalk which bears to the left. Go past the entrance to loading bay 'F', go round the corner and head parallel to the river. The double door entrance to the complex is the 1st one that you come to! – (See aerial view below – follow red arrows)
Once inside the Shopping Centre, go straight ahead, past the stairway to the curling rink, through all double doors, past the children’s play area and into the food court. (Route shown by blue arrows on aerial views below)
You will now see the small, circular ice rink on your right. Go past this rink and the doors into the arena are ahead of you, next to ‘Costa Coffee’.
We are assured that the small car park mentioned above will be open on a Saturday morning. However, if you find the small car park closed, use the covered car park - see aerial views below, and follow red arrows to the recommended entrance at the rear. If the large carousel entrance, adjacent to the bus station is open, you have the option of entering the shopping centre there. (Route to arena shown by blue arrows on aerial views below)
