Photo Day is important to RBBA for a number of reasons but I am only going to list the two most important ones:
1. It is used as a FUND RAISING opportunity. RBBA gets to keep 20% of all money spent on pictures. That means money raised by this event helps keep our children’s registration costs down.
2. We provide plaques to our sponsors! This is RBBA’s way of saying “THANK YOU for helping our community and your participation is very important to us.”
Managers’ are required to have their teams at Dogwood (in complete and clean uniforms) and ready for pictures 5 minutes prior to their scheduled time. This helps the photographers by not having to wait for a team and later having a backup. (Just think about all those times at the doctor’s office that you needed to wait because a person before you was late…)
Thank you for your cooperation, the process should last no longer than 20 minutes, will help to reduce league costs and you will have memories of ballplayer to last a lifetime.
