| Information: | Now is the time to try hockey for free! The State College Youth Ice Hockey Association is looking for boys and girls ages 4-9 who want to play hockey. If that’s your child, bring them to the Penn State Ice Rink on November 9th, 2009.
State College Junior Icers coaches will conduct the on-ice clinic along with practice for our Mite team. Kids will participate in skating drills, learn how to skate with a puck, and be able to shoot on a goalie. Parents are invited to attend to speak with Junior Icer coaches and current Junior Icer parents about the program.
Equipment Required: We will outfit the kids with equipment that your child can borrow for the clinic. Helmet with face-mask, gloves, elbow pads, shin guards, jock, hockey skates are required. If your child already has skates and a helmet from a Learn to Skate program or In-House Hockey program, please have them bring them. We encourage all kids to arrive by 5:45 so they can get dressed and be ready to step on the ice at 6:15 pm.
Contact Tim Bailor, State College Youth Ice Hockey, at timbailor@gmail.com or 237-1480 with questions.
Please pre-register your child for the clinic by visiting our website at www.scyiha.com
