The Royals (3-3) defeated the Lodi Moose Brewers (3-5) by a final score of 7-5. Tim Marino went 7 innings for the win, and helped himself out at the plate, going 3 for 4 with a HR and 4 RBI. Jeff Crowley pitched 2 shutout innings for the save.
ROYALS SHUT OUT SWINGERS 5-0

Behind winnning pitcher Tim Marino's 7 shutout innings, Sparky's Royals (2-1) shut out Swingers International (0-2) by a score of 5-0 at Fairview Field. Harold Sofield finished off the shutout with 2 scoreless innings. Offensively, Coach Matt Lynaugh led the way, going 2-3 with a HR and 2 RBI. Eddie Slodyczka also hit a solo HR.
ROYALS WIN VS. METS IN FAIRVIEW

The Royals (1-1) collected their first win of the season 8-7 vs. the Clifton Mets (0-2) on Sunday at Fairview Field. Tim Marino pitched 6 solid innings, Craig Beatty went 2 innings for the win, and Harold Sofield picked up the save. Hitting standouts were Tim, who went 2 for 5 with a 3-run HR, and Martin Billig, who went 4 for 5 with 2 RBI.
