Off To a Good Start in 2008!!
The Ferris State Club Baseball team played in the Central Michigan tournament on the 4th & 5th of October, going 2-1 over the weekend beating the CMU Alumni team 14-7, then beating Delta College 5-3 winning there pool and advancing to the semifinals against confrence foe Michigan State. MSU overcame the tough hitting Bulldogs to beat them 7-5 in a hard fought battle.
Last weekend Western Michigan came to Win Kellum Field hopeing to show the Bulldogs a new Bronco team only to lose the first game of the double dip 11-4. The Bulldogs didn't let up in the nightcap winning in 6 innings 15-5. Lead by Matt Day with two homeruns and a double and a great pitching performance by senior starting pitcher Chris Weaks.
