New Umpire Application The Fort Myers Baseball League is always looking for talented umpires. We prefer umpires with at least 3 years experience working High School, Junior College, or NCAA games (plate experience required). The FMBL plays games year-round, predominantly at 10am on Sundays. Games are 9 inning contests, with most subjected to a 3-hour time limit. To apply to become an umpire in the FMBL, please fill out the online form below. |

Umpire Feedback Form The Fort Myers Baseball League is always looking to improve the umpire-player relationship. One of the ways we seek to do so is by soliciting honest feedback regarding FMBL Umpire performance and professionalism. This form should only be completed by FMBL Managers, and will let our Chief Umpire know how we are doing. |

Umpire Ejection Report A report must be submitted electronically after any game in which any participant has been ejected. This report is to be completed within 24 hours of the completion of the contest. Please report only the facts of the incident and not your opinions. |

Hall of Fame Nomination The FMBL Hall of Fame will recognize exceptional contributions to the league (either on or off the field, or a combination of both) which are noteworthy of recognition beyond our normal website blurb or pat on the back. The members of our FMBL Hall of Fame signify what our league stands for -- excellence, leadership, character, commitment, etc. Basic Qualification Criteria: 1. Nominee must be in good standing with the league -- cannot have any funds owed to the league for current or past seasons. 2. Nominee must have played a minimum of 5 seasons, or served as an official (board, umpire, etc) for the league for at least 5 seasons, or a combination of both equal to 5 full seasons. 3. If Nominee does not qualify under criteria #2, Nominee must have gifted a minimum $5000 value in total contributions/sponsorships/etc to be considered for vote as an FMBL Presidential HOF member. 4. If Nominee has contributed a minimum of $10,000 value in total contributions/sponsorships/etc, Nominee will automatically be inducted into FMBL Founders Club HOF. Nomination Rules: Nominees cannot submit themselves for consideration for inclusion in the Hall of Fame. Nominations can be made by a Board Member, Umpire, Player, or Manager as long as the nomination includes the following: Nominee Full Name Nominee contact info (phone, email, and/or current address) Dates/seasons associated with the league Full details of qualification for nomination Nominator Full Name Nominator phone number Nominator email Nominator address Description of the contribution made to the Fort Myers Baseball League, and why it should be considered exceptional. (please cite stats and/or specific details) Nominations must be typed and submitted either physically or electronically to the Board of Directors (or designated member). Qualified nominees will be subject to a voting process for induction to the FMBL Hall of Fame at a later date. |
