First Aid Class on June 5, 2018 at the squadron
Our squadron will be conducting a first aid class on June 5, 2018 at the squadron. It will take place in lieu of our normal activities for that night. Please note that there will be a time difference in the schedule in order to accommodate the time necessary to complete the course. The class will begin at 1830 and conclude at 2130 (6:30-9:30). Please arrive 15 minutes earlier so that we can start the class on time without interruptions, we need to be considerate of the instructors who are giving so generously of their time and talents. SM Silver was kind enough to set up this class for our squadron at no cost to our members, it is a great opportunity for all of us to get certified in first aid, as it will come in handy for many of us, whether for CAP or outside of CAP. We are also attempting to set up a CPR/AED class in the near future for most likely a Saturday. It is our goal to try to get all of our members certified with both first aid and CPR/AED training. However, I understand that there will be dates that will not accommodate every person's schedule, I do hope that you would make every effort to attend these courses which will benefit you. Finally, I would ask that every member respond to this email letting us know whether or not you plan on attending this course so that we know how many instructors will need to be present for the class. We will need a head count asap so that we can give the instructors ample time to get what they need in order to conduct the class, so please take that into consideration.
