HBRBA CONCUSSION PROTOCOL

The HBRBA is committed to ensuring the safety of all our youth playing baseball, so moving forward we will be following the standard concussion protocols being implicated throughout all of youth sports.  Coaches will go through required training in recognizing the signs of a concussion and how to follow all the appropriate procedures should one of our players show any signs. Coaches will not be allowed to coach until they have completed the required training.

We are also providing to parents additional concussion information should your son or daughter start showing any signs of injury at home.  Sometimes after a hard collusion the symptoms of a concussion do not start to show up until the player is already at home.  So we are providing to all our parents a link to a website to help assist them should they feel their son or daughter is starting to show any signs of a concussion at home. Please click the link below for more info about concussions and concussion training.

PLAYGROUND BUILD

Thank you to the numerous sponsors and volunteers that made this addition to Ryan Park happen!

BATTING CAGE REBUILD

Special thanks to Universal Athlethic Service for donating 2 new nets for our much needed batting cage rebuild located between fields 7,8, and 10.  Fencecrafters built the frame, and Missouri River Contracting provided the fill.  Also special thanks to our volunteers for putting it all together!

BRYANT ELEMENTARY GLOVE DONATION

The Helena Babe Ruth and American Legion programs recently donated over a dozen baseball gloves to Bryant Elementary for use during recess and the upcoming season.  Several students from Mr. Quinn's class received a glove and were able to learn about baseball opportunities in Helena.  Cy Miller and Ethan Keintz, from the Helena Senators, talked about their passion for the game and worked with students on a few drills.  We can't wait to see these future stars on the diamond.
