| I watched a lot of the teams play here in cr this weekend for e state..i was disappointed with all the sandbagging going on..about 3/4 of the teams should be playing higher up..and the system is so screwed up that some of the players i recognized have played d and even c before...what a joke...i even overheard players complaining bout the no hr rules..and i was thinking thats exactly y u shouldnt be playing e...e is for the teams that lost by more than 10 runs this past weekend. Congrats to tabu...when r they gonna go up where they belong in c

| Man... I'm not even a forum regular and u got me responding...
TABU will now be C as per rules and will not be breaking up. We have never backed away from playing anyone and still won't. We still got lots to learn from the vets and will continue to grow as a team but all the noise about us playing down is just dumb. We play inside the rules and got no problems goin to the next level. Teams like sugar bears and the players from other legit squads know we would line up against them no matter if we went 0-2 BBQ. I just watched The hawks go from a D team a few years ago to B today with the same core... They never stopped improving and showed talent is best complimented with age/experience.
For those of u who think we sand bagged, u all need to realize we played open when there was one, to get better and GET BEAT by great teams, but also played D within all ASA rules. None of us care about the auto bump to C and will continue to be TABU in the future. We may be a .500 C team but we will still line up against anyone thinking we got a chance to win.
You know what it is.... On the the next one.

| Getting alittle ahead of yourself don't you think?? .500 C team? How many c teams have you faced this year? You think cause you play D and beat them you can step in the ring an automaticly Contend With everyone in class C? Not saying that one day Tabu couldn't, but moving up and all ready think your .500. Below average is where ya are at best. Can Tabu beat some C teams, yes they have but not often and not by much when they did. When Tabu can start putting C teams away in the 5th or 6th innings then talk. Chrome Horse did it and didn't do so well but they had class and didn't talk themselves up. Would look pretty stupid talking yourself up and go play C and get murdered!!

| 319 Has a pretty damn good team. Not saying this is the only reason we lost but I had a lot of errors at SS with 2 outs against them. Hopefully we get a chance to play them again at Super State with our regular starting SS. They played a pretty flawless game, so you have to tip your hat to them for mashing the ball and forcing us to field it which I/we did not do. Congrats to them.
And congrats to Tabu!

| Thanks thegreatbambino, good luck to you guys at Super State! To gettingaheadofyourself: what kind of loser are you? Kyle's post states that we are looking forward to playing "C" and will keep our same team together to do so even though we will be average ( .500 ), at best to start out. We played "D" and had some success, now we are looking forward to to challenge of moving up to "C". Maybe it is because we believe in ourselves and think we can play with anybody, or just that we believe that playing the best only makes you better, I believe that are team mentality has worked pretty well for us. The point is, even if we go to "C" and get worked, we are still going to do it as TABU and it will only make us work harder to get better and compete. Maybe you should try thinking you can win, then maybe you can have some success also. Otherwise just be content to be a hater and try to rip on those who want to rise to a challenge.

| Did this clown just say kato was talking up Tabu by saying they would maybe be a .500 team in C? To me that is talking down on your team lol. I'm assuming this guy is terrible if he thinks .500 is something to brag about. Get lost scrub.

| gettingaheadofyourself the only rational comment you have made so far is that you guys aren't even close to a C team. I don't know how that supports your argument that Tabu can't hang in C though. You suck so that means Tabu can't play in C? Great argument buddy. You beat Tabu once? Good job man! Like someone else already pointed out Dubuque early bird tournament was mostly all C level teams and Tabu took 5th(I think) with all games being competitive. Tabu is without a doubt a C caliber team. Will they be the best C team right out of the gate? Probably not. Will they be competitive against almost all C teams? Probably.

| It was no cake walk for 319. Played some quality teams all the way through, (the swarm, bush leaguers, powershack, team advantage) one of the tougher roads on the bracket.

| At a minimum, the top 15-20 teams in E should be playing D next year. Forcing those teams to move up would help the quality of play on all levels.
Yes, I know I should stay playing E ball and should probably only play coed....but I'm just sayin.
I like Justin's approach in Waterloo and I think that's a great idea.
