| Yes, Coach McMann coached at the RO Middle School last year. But he has worked on Varsity staffs before. He worked on the staff at Kimball and, I believe, he worked at Clawson and Bishop Foley, also. Having someone in the building that has brought other teachers from the district in will be big difference for them.
Before you put him (and Mr. Cole) down, why don't you get to know him and his credentials.
I believe that he, with the staff he is bringing in, will turn this program around.

| It seems like a strange hire. He definitely benefited from being in the building. I'm surprised after Chapman's struggles that the AD wasn't interested in someone with a stronger football resume. I know of two candidates that would have brought solid OAA credentials and recent varsity level success.
I think Royal Oak is lucky to move back into the Blue. I wish Coach McMann the best, but I am cautious to be optimistic about this hire.
It will be interesting comparing Royal Oak and Pontiac's football programs over the next few years. It would be great to see them finding success. But, finding the right coach is key.
