Why not have Harrison move to the red? They have by far the highest lifetime winning percetage of over .800. But Athens, with a .470 gets moved up ? makes no sense

News that this is what the conferences will look like. Here are some other things I have heard:

1) Red and White will play a crossover game in the middle of the season (determined by last 2 years records)

2) Blue Info:
a. Hazel Park, Pontiac and Ferndale will only play one of the school coming down (Troy, Rochester, Bloomfield Hills)
b. Royal Oak, Berkley and Avondale will not be playing each other.

My question is: Why bring teams down to the blue and then say they are too good (or too big) to play the other teams in the league. If this is true, why not just leave them in the Red/White?

Am I the only one with information that Farmington Harrison will be shutting it's doors for good at the end of this school year?

The 7-7-9 and the rules involved for the Blue are just so strange. I feel like it would make more sense with something simpler:

Red (8)
Clarkston, Lake Orion, Oxford, Troy, Troy Athens, West Bloomfield, Bloomfield Hills, Southfield

White (7 or 8, depending on Harrison)
Stoney Creek, Rochester, Adams, Farmington, Oak Park, Seaholm, Groves, Harrison?

Blue (7)
Pontiac, Berkley, Ferndale, North Farmington, Avondale, Royal Oak, Hazel Park

Week 1 is a non-conference game for everyone
If Harrison plays in 2016...
- Red and White play conference games in weeks 2-8, crossover in week 9
- Blue has another non-conference Week 2 and Week 9
If Harrison does NOT play in 2016...
- Red and White play a cross-over in week 9
- White and Blue play a cross-over in week 2, or both divisions have a non-conference game in week 2.

Thoughts?

The latest on Harrison is that they will no longer have freshmen in the building but those that are their now will continue to stay there. That should keep the team good for 2 years (maybe 3 of there is enough to have a team with just seniors).
