In the Jr. Pee Wee division, I believe Boston Bengals won for P1. But it started out a little confusing. They had a whole group of football players that should have gotten a medal for team spirit. They were so supportive of the girls.

Wilmington was a P4. The only P4 so they won but they were amazing. Clean, great stunts, really flawless. I want to see them win at Nationals. Grand Champions for sure. They will be a force.

Burlington won P3.

Can't remember who won P2.

Girls were great.

Yes a lot of the teams did look great!!! But what I don't understand is how teams can win a division without doing any skills in the level the compete in? Seems there should be rules for that or penalized for not staying in appropriate level.....

Sorry -

Dracut won P1 for Jr Pee Wees. I think they messed up when they were calling out the winners of the levels.

But they moved on.

Sorry Dracut!

Cheermomk, clean routines, but for example a team going level 3, but not doing any level 3 stunts...... They ge good execution scores b/c they are very clean. Other teams push to the next level and do all stunts in appropriate level. I just think whatever level a team declares, they should have to do minimum in that skill range. Tat would be like going level 4 because there are not very many level 4 teams, so almost guarantee a spot all the way, but then have less that 25%tumble/tucks and do level 2 and few level 3stunts.... Just doesn't seem right to me. I welcome competition.

With this said though, I also don't want teams to do the opposite and sandbag their teams.....like a team that could go level 3 or 4 maybe because they have a lot of talent or ex all stars cheerleaders, but then go level 2 just to dominate and get to Nationals.

I know it is hard, we have short time to train, teach etc, but think you should do what is I the specific level you declare......sorry if this doesn't make sense.

Just to be clear Topnotch....... Who do you have an issue with? I coach the Wilmington Jr Pee Wee and work that team to always better their skill they are a level 4 and to strong to be a level 3....... I also think many coaches like myself hold back at league as well as conference sometimes you are continuously perfecting skill ......... So maybe some coaches didn't throw everything out there on Saturday....... Please remember kids read this and as I am Sure your not talking about Wilmington some of my 8 and 9 year olds thought you were just because you mentioned level 3/4......... No hard feelings just some of these kids are really talented and young.......:/

Kevin, I was ABSOLUTELY not talking about you team. You guys did look great. I understand the routines do get harder and improve....the routine a team has in September should not be the same routine a team performs in November. I am referring to teams that declare level 3, but then have no level 3 skill. Of course their execution score will be higher bc they are performing easier skills.
