Just wanted to thank everyone very much for buying lemonade, making donations and buying raffle tickets (thanks to Steve from Starks for donating all the Bacardi bottles). It was a great success and we made $1,200 today that we will be donating to Sick Kids in honour of my daughter. This is a great league with great people. Raffle will be happening before the finals at 3:30. We will be at Crosby tomorrow. On behalf of my family, I want to personally thank Chris and Tony and the entire USPL for their tremendous support and generosity. In total we raised $1,300 through the Lemonade Stand and the raffle of items generously donated by Steve from Starks. This $1,300 is being donated to Sick Kids for Rett Syndrome Research which will benefit my daughter Ava.
My daughter Clara loved doing the Lemonade Stand and everyone was so gracious to her. She was having an amazing time and didn’t want to leave as we stayed until about 9pm on Saturday and then she begged to come back on Sunday to do more.
This is a great league and everyone should be proud of what they did to support me and my family !
