| Lots of leagues out there that play DH's, why not go play in one of them..I'm guessing theyre closer to home too....win/win

| I agree a few sprinkled throughout the schedule but not exclusively double headers. Double headers leave less time for parking lot shenanigans.

| It should be based on teams desires/wishes. If a team doesn't want any dh then don't give them any.

| Perhaps a solution for the guys with no kids, jobs or families. Trying coaching your kids ball team or soccer team when you have a double header. Working nights as well.
If it ain't broke, don't fix it! As Harry and others said, there is the York League or other leagues you can join.

| Ideas are always welcome, but in order to be properly considered it must be brought up in front of the league at the AGM. Not dissimilar to the HR rule.
This league is about playing a couple nights a week with your buddies, not trying to make it more accessible for people from out of town.
I'm open to the conversation, as always, but I make a 45 minute drive sometimes and am happy to do it because I like seeing my team, I'm not here to work on my swing for my tourney team.
With respect, not a big fan of this. There are man other leagues that offer double headers, this isn't one of them. Yet.

| As a "old school" guy I appreciate your comments regarding the AGM.
These days this forum is a area where we should judge the temperature and pulse of the members. It may not be a bad thing to try a few games in a night.

| @ Silverfox - absolutely we need to use the forum to gauge temperatures of topics. However, the feedback must be tempered due to the fact that there is ZERO accountability.
NO idea who posts what, and further, people can have multiple accounts and there is very rarely a real name that goes with a comment.
This is why voting on league issues will never happen on the website/forum UNLESS the accountability measures are modified.
It is good to hear about suggestions, opinions, ideas and to read some funny back and forth!
Wanted to reiterate that the forum will not actually get rule changes through, need to vote on things at the AGM to affect change.

| This suggestion is based on the fact that my wife and kids will happily allow we to get out for one night of the week but two and sometimes three nights is hard to pull off. Either way this is just a suggestion.

| I my humble opinion, we should attempt this next season.
Congrats to dst on their third straight title! This was an absolutely dominant season from start to finish for the champs.
