Rocks Mercy the Indians While Making History!
    Team 1 2 3 4 5 Score
    Blue Rocks 1 0 1 2 12 16
    Philadelphia Indians 0 0 2 0 0 2
The Rocks were more than determined to finally break lose, and thats just what they DID in game 2. The Rocks would get a lead off walk by Paul Ciervo who would later steal second (3 SB's) to get into scoring position for clean up hitter Doug Biernacki (2for4,3RBI's) who would hit a line drive to bring in Ciervo to take a 1-0 lead. Then again in the top of the 3rd Bobby Mihov would reach on an error, followed with a double off the top of the fence by Ciervo to put runners in scoring position for Biernacki once again. Biernacki would move the runners in which lead to a 2-0 lead. The Indians would score 2 Un-Earned Runs in the bottom of the 3rd by 2 Errors and a hit batter to tie the game at 2-2. That would only lead to an angry and determined Blue Rock 4th Inning, which proved just that when Brandon Boyd (3for3,2RBI's) singled to move Roseboro to second for Kevin Carey who would drive in a run as well as Joe Rigler's RBI to take a 4-2 lead. Not yet taking any mercy the Rocks would UNLEASH in the top of the 5th! Between Biernacki's double, Boyd's 2 singles and 10 walks would lead to 12 Runs Crossing the Plate to give the Rocks a 16-2 Lead. The Rocks would MAKE HISTORY by pitching a Combined NO-HITTER! With the help of new comer (Pitcher, IF) Ken Ruediger who would pitch a gem by not allowing any hits and Kevin Mongeau who would close out the last chance the Indian had. This is the first time in Rocks History (Since 1995) to have EVER Accomplished a NO-HITTER! Congratulation to the 2004 Blue Rock Team!!!!
