Radnor Shuts Out Harriton 11-0
Radnor rolled to a mercy shortened win over Harriton 11-0 in six innings.
After a scoreless first inning, the Raiders got on the board when Kim Mullarkey singled with two outs, stole 2B, and scored on a single by Sophia Royle. In the 3rd inning, the Raiders added three more, with the big hit being a two out two run single by Cate Remphrey. As the game went on, Radnor piled on with RBI singles by Brooke Nicander, Carolyn Eckstein, Libby Tewksbury, and Sydney D'Entremont.
Both Sydney (2 for 2) and Libby (1 for 1) recorded their first varsity hits.
For the game, Sydney Aljian and Sarah Rosenblum each had two hits, two runs scored and an RBI. Carolyn Eckstein came on late and was 3-3, with a run scored and an RBI. And Audrey Rosenblum and Sydney D each contributed two hits as well with a run scored.
Brooke Nicander pitched a complete game shutout. She allowed only 4 hits, while striking out 2 and walkking NO ONE. Micaela Myers played a fine game in the field with 6 assists at 3B.
Radnor returns to the diamond tomorrow at home vs. Marple Newtown.
